Digitizing land records in India: Centre’s challenge to alleviate concerns around it and bring states on board

​​The Digital India Land Records Modernisation Programme (DILRMP) was launched in 2016 as a central sector scheme. According to data available with the department of land resources, 58,10,300 plots in 18 states and Union territories have so far been surveyed and ULPINs assigned.
