Export demand pushes non-basmati rice price by 10%

Bangladesh’s decision will primarily help the eastern states of West Bengal, Bihar and Odisha to export more rice as the transportation cost will be less through the land route compared with other states. But rice producers in other states too will likely benefit from the higher prices.
