Govt invokes FCRA, clutch of NGOs face detailed audit

The accounts and records of these local NGOs for receipt and utilisation of foreign contribution (FC) from 2015-16 to 2017-18 will be inspected by an auditor chosen by the government, according to a ministry communication received by many NGOs, two persons aware of the development told ET.
