PM to interact with heads of Indian Missions abroad, stakeholders of trade, commerce on Friday

The interaction assumes significance as the commerce ministry has fixed an export target of USD 400 billion for the current fiscal. The outbound shipments of the country are recording healthy growth rates. The country’s exports grew by 47.19 per cent to USD 35.17 billion in July on account of healthy growth in the outbound shipments of petroleum, engineering, and gems and jewellery.
